Screening

We provide visual field tests to measure the central and side vision for each of your eyes

Refractive Status
Evaluation

The refraction test is an eye exam that measures a person’s prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses

Orthokeratology

A non-surgical reversible procedure in which custom-designed contact lens devices are used to gently reshape the cornea

Binocular
Vision Testing

We provide comprehensive eye examinations which include the testing of binocular vision

Tonometry
(Non-contact)

Tonometry is performed to determine the intraocular pressure (IOP), the fluid pressure inside the eye

Colour Vision
Screening

A colour vision test measures your ability to tell the difference among colours

Keratometry

Keratometry is the measurement of the corneal curvature; corneal curvature determines the power of the cornea

Dilated Fundus
Examination

The use of mydriatic eye drops to dilate the pupil in order to obtain a better view of the fundus of the eye

Cycloplegic
Refraction

A cycloplegic refraction is a procedure used to determine a person’s complete refractive error

Pachymetry

A pachymeter is a medical device used to measure the thickness of the eye’s cornea. It is used to perform corneal pachymetry prior to refractive surgery

Dispensing Assistant
Louise has been helping patients find the right frame for 24 years. With her kind nature and willingness to always go the extra mile, Louise is loved by so many of our patients.
Bookkeeper
Felicity has been with the practice for more than 35 years. Steve considers her to be his right arm in the business and is well known to all our longstanding clientele.
Stock Controller / Receptionist
Always efficient, Hanneke ensures we stock the right product mix for our clientele. She is your go-to person for ordering contact lenses, sports eyewear and Oakley products.
Dispensing Assistant / Receptionist
Monique’s voice is usually the one you will hear when calling the practice. Monique is on hand to help you with choosing your frame and sports eyewear selection.
Optical Assistant
Shoney assists in the debtors and creditors department and is also our in-store fashionista. She loves dressing up and will assist you with great advice on getting that fabulous new frame.
Optical Dispenser
Our frame repairs and adjustments specialist Chris advises on the frames and lenses best suited to your needs. With our new on-site laboratory, Chris can cut most lenses on the same day.
